European Partnering
Business Support Kent has been involved in the development and delivery of EU funded projects for over seven years.
The key objective of this bidding is to secure appropriate additional funding from the UK and EU sources to develop the capacity of our organisation and to deliver additional services for the benefit of our customers.
We particularly seek to develop projects that encourage enterprise and help to promote aspects of sustainability, both areas in which Business Support Kent leads regionally. We also seek to support other partnerships where their projects require SME engagement and support - as well as initiating projects where we know there is a clearly defined local Kent need.
Business Support Kent also assists a number of other Business Link Service Providers access additional funding. We have recently supported Sussex Enterprise to access £½ M to develop the skills base within the rural sector and have bid for over £10m to promote innovation and sustainability through the Interreg programme.
